On the prestigious seafront of Almaza Bay, the D&K Seafront Beach House is a 1,130 sq.m contemporary residence designed for a family of art collectors. Completed in 2022, the project balances understated luxury with a minimal aesthetic, celebrating honest materials and framing uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean in a refined coastal retreat.
Concept Narrative
The D&K Seafront Beach House was conceived as an architectural statement of restraint and authenticity. Anchored on the first row of Almaza Bay, the design adopts a monochromatic palette that amplifies the natural beauty of the coastline. Its form is defined by clean lines, exposed wood, and a steel pergola purposefully left uncladded, celebrating the integrity of materiality and the simplicity of seaside living.
Inside, the house becomes a neutral canvas for the owners’ distinguished art collection. Minimal interiors and fully openable windows dissolve the barrier between indoors and outdoors, allowing the horizon and seascape to become part of the living experience. The elevated infinity pool enhances the connection to the Mediterranean, extending views seamlessly from the living room to the sea.
With its carefully planned gathering areas and serene outdoor terraces, the project harmonizes subtle luxury with the ease of beach life. It stands as both a retreat and a showcase—celebrating its setting while embodying the refined lifestyle of its owners.
